When you stop recording in Feedz, the hard work is handed over to the AI. Within seconds, your raw voice observations are transformed into a polished, professional player report — structured, sport-aware, and ready to share. Understanding how that process works helps you get the most consistent and accurate output every time.

How Feedz Processes Your Recording

Feedz follows a two-stage pipeline from voice note to finished report.
1

Transcription

Feedz converts your audio into text. The transcription engine is tuned for coaching language, handling sport-specific terminology, positional references, and the kind of informal phrasing that comes naturally when speaking aloud. Once your recording has been transcribed, the original audio is permanently deleted from Feedz’s servers — it is never stored long-term.
2

AI report generation

The transcribed text is passed to Feedz’s AI, which analyses the content, identifies key themes, and constructs a structured report. The AI applies sport-specific context to ensure the feedback reads as credible and relevant to that discipline. The text transcription and the finished report are then stored in your account until you choose to delete them.

Sport-Specific Intelligence

Feedz is trained across 18+ sports, so the AI understands the language, positions, skills, and performance markers that matter in each one. A cricket report won’t read like a football report — the structure, terminology, and emphasis are adapted to the sport you’re coaching.

The AI tailors each report based on the sport associated with the Trainee’s profile, so make sure the correct sport is set when you add or edit an Trainee.

What a Generated Report Includes

Every Feedz report is structured to be clear and useful for both Trainees and parents. A typical report covers:
  • Session summary — a brief overview of the training session or match context.
  • Key strengths — specific things the Trainee did well, drawn directly from your observations.
  • Development areas — constructive areas for improvement, framed positively and practically.
  • Next steps — actionable guidance the Trainee can take into their next session.
  • **Recommended training videos **— a selection of videos selected by Feedz based n your feedback.
The AI may restructure, rephrase, or reorder what you said to improve clarity and professionalism. The core observations you recorded will always be reflected in the output — but the language will be polished and the format will be consistent.

Processing Time

Typical recordings

Most reports are generated in under 20 seconds. Short, focused voice notes of one to two minutes process almost instantly.

Longer recordings

For detailed recordings of several minutes, processing may take up to a few minutes. A progress indicator will keep you updated.
Turn on your Push Notifications for Feedz to be alerted when reports are ready.

Refining Reports

Before you approve a report, you can make manual edits to each section or you can request up to 3 voice edits to adjust the content.
1

Review the generated report

Read the full report carefully after it’s generated. Check that the key points from your voice note are accurately represented and that the tone is appropriate.
2

Request a voice edit

Tap Edit with Voice and speak your revision instructions. Be specific — describe exactly what you want changed, added, or removed.
3

Review the updated report

Feedz applies your instruction and regenerates the relevant sections. Review again and either approve the report or make further edits if needed.
Use your edit credits strategically. One clear, specific instruction — “make the development section more encouraging and action-focused” — will produce a better result than a vague one.

Sharing the Reports

Every report generated in Feedz can be shared with the Trainee or their Guardian. Once approved, reports can be automatically sent to the email address on file, or they can be exported as a PDF, giving you a professionally formatted document you can print, attach to an email, or archive outside the app. To export a PDF:
  1. Open the report you want to export.
  2. Tap Share Report.
  3. Share to an app or save the file to your device.
PDF exports retain the full report structure and Feedz formatting, making them suitable for sending to parents, administrators, or other stakeholders.

Reviewing Before You Send

AI-generated content should always be reviewed by you before it is shared. While Feedz strives for accuracy, the AI may occasionally misinterpret phrasing or miss nuance. As the coach, you are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of every report you send. Never share a report without reading it first.
Think of Feedz as a highly capable first draft — your professional judgement is still the most important part of the process.
