Academies are the core organisational unit in Feedz — each one is a self-contained coaching group with its own roster of Players, report history, and settings. If you coach multiple groups, create one academy per team or sport and switch between them freely.

Creating an Academy

Open the Academies tab

From the home screen, tap Academies, then tap the + to create a new one.

Fill in the details

  • Name — e.g. “U9s Sat” or “Tennis Seniors”
  • Activity — the sport or discipline
  • Age Group — Kids, Youth, or Adults
  • Feedback Tone — Warm, Balanced, Direct, or Original (Feedz recommends one per age group)

Add branding (optional)

Upload your academy logo and set primary/secondary colours. These appear on all reports generated within this academy.

Tap Create

Your academy is ready to use.
To edit an academy, open the Academies tab, tap ☰ and select Edit Academy.
Deleting an academy permanently disassociates all Players and reports within it. This cannot be undone.

Adding a Player

Open the Academy

Tap Academies and select the academy where you want to add someone.

Tap Create New

Open the new Player form.

Enter their details

  • Full Name — appears on every report
  • Email — required to share reports directly from the app
  • Date of Birth (optional) — tick to confirm guardian consent for under-13s
  • Tags — freeform labels like “First Team” or “Summer Programme”
  • Guardian — toggle on if sharing reports with a parent or guardian instead, and enter the guardian’s contact details

Tap Create Player

The Player now appears in your academy roster.
Before adding any Player under 13, you must have explicit guardian consent in line with your organisation’s safeguarding policy.

Viewing Report History

Open a Player’s profile and tap See All under the Reports section. All reports are listed in reverse chronological order — tap any to view, preview the PDF, or share it.

Editing and Deleting Players

To edit: tap the Player’s name → ☰ → Edit Player → make changes → Save. To delete: tap the Player’s name → ☰ → Delete Player → confirm. This is permanent.
To archive a Player without losing their history, add an “Inactive” tag rather than deleting the profile.

Moving a Player Between Academies

Players are tied to the academy they were added to. To move one, open the destination academy, tap Add Existing, and tap + next to their name. Historical reports transfer automatically.
