An academy in Feedz is a self-contained coaching group — the digital equivalent of a team, squad, or club you coach in the real world. Everything inside an academy is separate: its own roster of Trainees, its own report history, and its own settings. If you coach multiple groups, you can create a dedicated academy for each one and switch between them at any time.

What Is an Academy?

When you first set up Feedz, your first academy is automatically created based on the activity you selected during the onboarding. Think of it as your coaching workspace for a specific group of people. You can edit this academy and its Trainees inside the app.

Multiple age groups

A football coach who runs both an under-9s group and an under-14s squad creates a separate academy for each — Trainees, sessions, and reports stay completely separate.

Multiple sports

A coach who runs football training on Saturdays and a tennis group on weekday evenings creates one academy per sport, each with its own sport-specific AI settings.

Multiple clubs

A freelance coach working with two different clubs sets up an academy for each club, keeping their rosters, branding, and report history cleanly separated.

Seasonal programmes

A coach running a summer skills programme alongside their regular squad creates a dedicated academy for the programme, so its Trainees and reports don’t mix with the main group.

Creating a New Academy

Open the Academy tab

From the Feedz home screen, tap Academies at the bottom of the screen to open the academy panel. Tap the + at the top to Create a New Academy

Name Your New Academy

Add a Academy Name and a brief description of your academy (optional). Select the Activity you’ll be coaching for this academy.

Configure Your Trainee Settings

Choose the Age Group of the Trainees in this academy, and customise the Feedback Tone which should be used for the final reports. Feedz will recommend a tone for each age group, or you could also preserve your original tone.

OPTIONAL: Upload Your Branding

Upload your Academy Logo and choose the primary and secondary colours whcih will be used to apply branding to the final reports. You can skip this section, the report will use the default Feedz branding .

Save and start adding Trainees

Tap Create. Your new academy is ready — you’ll be taken back to the Academies tab where you will see your new academy.
Name your academies clearly from the start — names like “U9s Sat” and “U14s Sun” are much easier to navigate than generic labels.

Switching Between Academies

You can switch between academies by scrolling through the list on the Home tab, or by navigating to the Academies section.

Trainees Are Academy-Specific

Each Trainee belongs to the academy they were added to. A Trainee in your U9s academy won’t appear in your U14s academy — their profiles, report history, and contact details are kept completely separate.
If an Trainee moves between your groups, you’ll need to add them to the new academy manually. Navigate to the new Academy, tap on Add Existing, and click the + next to the Trainee’s name to add them to their new academy. Historical reports from the previous academy are linked to the Trainee’s account and transfer automatically.

How Many Academies Can I Create?

Coach+ allows you to create and manage multiple academies under a single subscription with no fixed cap. Your 30 monthly report credits are shared across all your academies — not allocated per academy. So 10 reports in your U9s academy and 10 in your U14s academy uses 20 credits from your monthly total.

Editing or Deleting an Academy

To rename your academy or update its settings, open the Academies tab, tap the ☰ menu at the top right of the screen and select Edit Academy.
Deleting an academy permanently disassociates all Trainees and reports from within it. This cannot be undone. If you no longer actively use an academy but want to keep the history, leave it in place and simply stop switching to it.
