# How to Generate Your First Player Report in Feedz

> Record a short voice note, let Feedz interpret your feedback and build the report, then review and send it to your Trainee — all in under 60 seconds.

Generating a report with Feedz is designed to feel as natural as talking to another coach after a session. You don't need to follow any script or structure — just speak about what you observed, and the AI takes care of the rest. This guide walks you through your first end-to-end report, from tapping record to sharing the finished result with your TraineTrainee.

## Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

* A Feedz account set up (see [Download & Setup](/getting-started/download-and-setup))
* At least one **Trainee** added to your **Academy**
* The Feedz app open on your device
* An active subscription or trial

## Recording and Generating Your Report

  <Step title="Open your Trainee's profile">
    From the Feedz home screen, navigate to the profile of the Trainee you wish to give feedback for. Top the **Give feedback** button at the bottom of the screen.

  <Step title="Tap the Record button">
    Tap the **Record** button — it's the large microphone icon at the centre of the screen. The app will begin listening immediately.

  <Step title="Speak your observations naturally">
    Talk as you normally would after a session. Describe what you saw — the Trainee's performance, specific moments, strengths, and areas to work on. You don't need to use any particular format; just speak naturally and let your thoughts flow. You can pause and resume the recording as needed until you've finished giving feedback.

    <Tip>
      For the best results, mention specific things they did well, key moments from the session, and clear areas for improvement. The more detail you give the AI, the more precise and useful the finished report will be. For example: *"Great first touch today, really improved since last week — needs to work on tracking back when we lose possession."*

  <Step title="Tap Generate AI Feedback to process your recording">
    When you've finished speaking, tap the **Stop** button. To generate your report, tap the **Generate AI Feedback** button. Feedz will immediately begin processing your audio. A structured, professional report is typically ready in around 20 seconds.

  <Step title="TraineReview the AI-generated report">
    TraineRead through the report Feedz has produced. The AI will have organised your observations into clear sections and rephrased them into professional coaching language.

    If anything needs adjusting, you can make edits to your report, either by using your voice or by manually typing into each section — tap the edit icon next to any section, type in your changes, and tap the **Save button.**

    <Note>
      The AI may restructure or rephrase your observations to produce a professional, readable report. This is expected behaviour — always review the full report before sending it to make sure it accurately reflects your intended feedback.

  <Step title="Approve and share with your athlete">
    Once you're happy with the report, tap **Approve**. You can then share it with your athlete in any of the following ways:

    * **PDF** — tap **Share report** to open the sharing menu and select your preferred way to shared the PDF report
    * **Email** — if enabled in the setting, an email will automatically be sent to your Trainee's email address (or their guardian's)

    Once you're happy with the report, tap **Approve**. You can then share it with your Trainee in any of the following ways:

    * **PDF** — tap **Share report** to open the sharing menu and select your preferred way to shared the PDF report

## What Happens Next

Your Trainee will receive their report instantly. They (or their parent or guardian) can save the PDF and refer back to it before their next session. Every report you generate is also saved to your coaching history, giving you a record of each Trainee's progress over time.
