# How to Redeem a Promo Code

> Apply a promo code to unlock a discounted or free trial of Feedz.

If you have a promo code, you can redeem it directly from the Feedz subscription screen.

## How to redeem a code

1. Open the Feedz app and navigate to the subscription screen (complete the [Setup](/getting-started/download-and-setup) flow, or if you already have an account, navigate to the Account tab and look for the Subscription section).
2. Tap **Have a promo code?** at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter your code in the field that appears.
4. Tap **Apply**.

If the code is valid and active, you'll be taken to the App Store or Google Play with the offer automatically applied. Complete the checkout there to activate your plan.

  Promo codes are case-insensitive — you can enter them in uppercase or lowercase.

## Troubleshooting

**The code isn't being accepted.** Double-check for typos and make sure there are no extra spaces. Codes are time-limited, so it's possible the offer has expired — contact the person or organisation who shared the code with you to confirm it's still active.

Mention code should be redeemed in app

**I applied the code but didn't get taken to the store.** This can happen if the code has already been redeemed on your account or if the code is for new users only. If you believe this is an error, contact [support@feedz.club](mailto:support@feedz.club).
